Lifeline is just one box, and will typically use 350 kw/h of power per year, costing roughly £35.
A traditional site-server solution with file server, email server and firewall will typically use 1000 kw/h of power per year, and generate enough heat to require air conditioning at nearly 2000 kw/h. Together these cost roughly £300 per year to power, nearly ten times more than Lifeline.
